Our cruise on Brilliant Lady was an enormous $2000 mistake in a lot of ways. Our first two days onboard were spent sick in bed, only to be followed by leaving the cruise entirely just 2 days later.
Did we enjoy the ship? Totally. Can't wait to cruise them again.
When will we have that opportunity? It's probably gonna be a year or two, because...
Starting today, Jaidyn is now working onboard onboard Legend of the Seas out of Barcelona. 😮 I'm in an odd position where I can't sail on her ship yet, but don't have a place of my own... So I've decided to make cruise ships my home for the time being. Most likely for the next year. Sounds kind of insane typing that out, but that's what I'm gonna attempt.
I've lived on ships the majority of the last 10 years, so it's something I've really come accustomed to. The only difference was during those 10 years, I was being paid by the cruise lines to work onboard. This time I'll be paying them to let me on their ships. So we'll see how this plays out financially. Lol.
If you read all of this, thanks! I'm posting this from the Norwegian Joy, my new home at sea for the next 16 days. After this, I'm gonna attempt getting myself out to Barcelona to join Legend for an Atlantic crossing. Wish me luck!
