After over 50 visits to St. Thomas, we finally bit the bullet and took the ferry over to St. John.
We mostly work on ships to save money, so expensive trips outside of the main port area aren't really our style. But we'd heard such great things about the island, we had to go, especially since we have no idea when we'll be making it back out here again.
We REALLY hoped that we could keep it inexpensive, but slowly the price kept creeping up. I guess that's what you get when two tacos and a round of drinks is over $60. We still had a good time though, and would 100% come back to St. John, just maybe when the weather is a little bit better.
We're on Star of the Seas for just 9 more days, and then life changes a lot for us! We're heading to Arizona, and will be making some videos about our time out there. We'll also be cruising a bit out of the West Coast. Some Carnival ships, Royal, Princess, all the west coasters. Hmm.. What else? Later this summer we'll be headed to Legend of the Seas for its inaugural sailing, so feel free to stick around on the channel and join us for that.
Oh last thing, we're starting a Patreon! It's a place for us to post all the videos that we never put up on Youtube. Think of them as like "extended edition" vlogs. We just film so, so much for each video but less than half of it ends up making the final cut. So if that's interesting to you at all, here's the link!
