We spent 4 nights sailing out of Long Beach on the Carnival Firenze, and to our surprise we were MAJORLY upgraded when we got onboard. This is Jaidyn's first Carnival cruise and my first Carnival cruise in a pretty long time.
Fun fact I worked for Carnival for a few weeks in 2018 on the Carnival Spirit. This ship was very, very different than the Spirit and from what guests shared with me, this is VERY different than pretty much every other ship in the Carnival line. Gold was covering pretty much every corner of the ship, and I couldn't help but feel like I was walking around a tiny Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.
Anyway, we had a good time overall! This is our first day onboard.
