Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady Heads to Miami Ahead of Caribbean Debut

Brilliant Lady - Virgin Voyages
Virgin Voyages’ newest ship, the Brilliant Lady, is en route to Miami as it completes its 13-night repositioning voyage from Quebec City to kick off its maiden Caribbean season.
Having officially entered service in early September, the 110,000-gross-ton ship has already spent several weeks sailing itineraries around Canada, New England, and Bermuda. Now, the line’s fourth “Lady Ship” is bound for PortMiami, where it will join fleetmates Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, and Resilient Lady on October 16, 2025.
From Quebec to the Caribbean
Brilliant Lady’s current voyage, which departed Quebec City on October 3, features scenic and cultural stops across Canada and the U.S. East Coast, including Halifax, Saint John, Eastport, and Boston.
Before reaching Florida, the ship will also make Virgin Voyages’ first-ever call to Charleston, South Carolina — marking another milestone for the brand’s expanding North American presence.
A New Season in the Sun
Once settled in Miami, Brilliant Lady will begin offering a series of seven- to twelve-night Caribbean itineraries through late March 2026. Each cruise will include a visit to The Beach Club at Bimini, Virgin’s signature private destination in the Bahamas.
The season will highlight a diverse mix of Southern Caribbean ports such as Aruba, Bonaire, Cartagena (Colombia), Puerto Limón (Costa Rica), and Colón (Panamá) — combining vibrant culture, tropical scenery, and longer sailings than typical Caribbean cruises.
Additional ports on select itineraries include Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios, Grand Turk, San Juan, and Puerto Plata, offering Sailors even more ways to explore the region.
Next Stop: The West Coast and Alaska
Following its Caribbean season, Brilliant Lady will embark on a 16-night Panama Canal repositioning voyage to Los Angeles, marking Virgin Voyages’ debut on the U.S. West Coast.
From there, the ship is expected to launch a series of California coastal cruises before making history again with Virgin’s first-ever Alaska season later in 2026.
About the Ship
Built by Fincantieri in Italy, the Brilliant Lady carries up to 2,770 guests and continues Virgin Voyages’ signature adults-only concept, modern design, and elevated dining approach. She joins a fleet that first set sail in 2020 with the Scarlet Lady, and her arrival marks the next phase of Virgin’s global expansion.
